Who We Are

At Haltu Tarun Sangha, our vision is a community where everyone has access to the resources and support they need to thrive. We work towards this goal every day, by providing vital social services and advocating for unity that promote development of character.

Our team is made up of dedicated committee members who are passionate about our mission. We come from diverse backgrounds and bring a wide range of skills and expertise to our work. Together, we are committed to making a difference in our community.

Since our founding in 1942, Haltu Tarun Sangha has helped thousands of individuals and families in our community. From providing emergency assistance to helping people find stage for collaboration, we are proud of the impact we have made. But there is still much work to be done, and we are committed to continuing our efforts.

In the backdrop of freedom movement that was then rocking our country, a few energetic young men, realizing that only political movement cannot achieve the goal of freedom fighters, set up Haltu Tarun Sangha to introduce social, cultural and sports activities among the unorganized young men of the neighbourhood.
